Objectives
- Interpret ISO/IEC 42001:2023 requirements clause by clause, including auditable and non-auditable clauses
- Design, evaluate, and audit an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) aligned with ISO standards
- Plan, conduct, lead, and close ISO 42001 internal and certification audits using ISO 19011 principles

- Audit the entire AI lifecycle: data management, model development, deployment, monitoring, and change management

Pre Requisites
- Basic understanding of management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, or similar is helpful but not mandatory)
- General awareness of Artificial Intelligence concepts, such as data, algorithms, models, and automation (no coding required)
- Interest in AI governance, ethics, risk, and compliance
- Professional experience in auditing, compliance, risk management, IT, quality, security, or AI-related roles is beneficial but not required
- Ability to read and understand ISO standard–style documentation
- No prior ISO/IEC 42001 knowledge is required – the course starts from fundamentals and progresses to Lead Auditor level
- No prior Lead Auditor certification is required
